Adding a mee too. Can't see if the connection works or not, just trying blindly to click again and again, that's not very user friendly.
Also, by default the packages needed for VPN connection are not there, but nowhere in the network manager applet says so, the only cue is that the 'add' button in the VPN tab is greyed out.
