Here we go.

The bios is the standard IBM ThinkPad T42 one.

Suspending to disk used to work before, i.e. in Edgy and even long
before that.  As I already said in my original report, the strange thing
in my opinion is the ``swsusp: Cannot find swap device, try swapon -a.''
one.
