This seems to be more of a problem then I anticipated. I am setup to use the 0.22 fixes MythBuntu packages and everytime I load an update I get an error that the mysql database cannot be configured. With my last update, mythtv-status no longer worked on my slave-backend. When I tried installing it, it indicated that there were unmet dependencies due to broken packages and a crash report appeared indicating the problem with mysql database. I do not understand the packaging system very well and am not sure if these are related problems or independent problems. If there is some workaround, though, I sure would like to know what it is, particuluarly if I am going to start losing functionality.
