Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kpowersave
kpowersave 0.7.x version have switched completely to HAL for all power management tasks. This means it will use Ubuntu laptop support the same way as gnome-power-manager and guidance-power-manager (KDE) do. It does not depend anymore on powersaved (which can still be installed though for users that care about power management when on console) 0.7.2 is the first release which provides same functionality as old 0.6.2 release (currently in Ubuntu) provided. Therefore it makes sense to upgrade to new version now. ** Affects: kpowersave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- UVF exception 0.6.2 -> 0.7.2 https://launchpad.net/bugs/88793 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
