I opened software-center from the terminal and this is the error when I hit the
Install button:
r...@rui-desktop:~$ software-center
WARNING:root:_on_trans_error: org.freedesktop.PolicyKit.Error.NotAuthorized:
('system-bus-name', {'name': ':1.59'}) is not authorized:
org.debian.apt.install-packages
If I type "sudo software-center" + psw the install button works just
fine.
This is leading me to believe that something is wrong in my user account
so I went to System/Administration/Users and Groups and the button that
unlocks the accounts-management doesn't work either.
Any guesses?
