I have an Acer Laptop w/dual core Intel cpu. Forced it to 1ghz as the peak speed, because it will overheat if a process gets too carried away and I'm not minding it. Sometimes it happens because I leave a flash player running in Firefox.
I thought I had done nothing to affect the temp/speed.. Forgot that I had throttled it down, but I need to slow the messages being generated.
