Public bug reported:

I'm using Feisty herd 4 and am doing some checksum tests with older
(Dapper Desktop/Alternative) CD's. Every time a Dapper CD is inserted
in the cdrom drive, a dialog box pops up with "Upgrade volume detected"
giving the user the choice to upgrade -- to an older version of the
distribution. This isn't a terribly big problem (clicking on upgrade
appears to do nothing), however could be confusing to novice users.
Maybe there's a way to check the distribution version and only pop up
this dialog if the version is >= the currently installed version?
