Hi, thanks for reporting this. However this is intentional and not a bug. The developers decided to debug notify-osd in the current development version of ubuntu. See [0] for the related changelog entry. This is why I'm marking this bereport as Invalid. You can expect the developers to disable the debug mode before the release.
