Hello, I'm running a full fledged hard disk installation (i.e. don't
know about live desktop CD) of Kubuntu Karmic Koala with the latest
updates for KDE and still have this error. So I'm resetting this from
Incomplete -> New.

Many KDE4 applications (such as Kwrite and Kate) does not show the "select IM"
menu on right click, thus can't select and use scim
