hi Pedro, thank you for your answer. following your advice I deleted all files from the iPod (by using Gtkpod) and now manage the iPod with Rhythmobox only. I can drag&drop files to the iPod and they save when ejecting via hythmbox. the basics work well, but 2 things related to playlist still do not work at all and I could not find any help in the web to solve this:
1. playlist: when moving a file to the playlist which is already on the iPod I can see it there, but when syncing and removing the iPod it looses the playlist and it's content. 2. copying a song/file from the musik folder directly to a iPod-playlist does not work at all. it looks like it works, but when checking t he playlist no song is there. should I open another bug report about that? looking foward for feedback. kind regards Lorenz Am Donnerstag, den 03.12.2009, 15:24 +0000 schrieb Pedro Villavicencio: > Well if the ipod is full there's nothing you can do basically, just > remove a few songs and as an advice try to use only one program to > manage your ipod, gtkpod writes the db in a diff way than rhythmbox they > use the same library in the end but not the same nomenclature, maybe try > to backup you ipod with gtkpod and then start to manage it with > rhythmbox, import the songs there, etc. > -- rythmbox does not allow to move songs into iPod https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490532 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
