I know, hikaricore... I don't understand the 'forget it' attitude. As has been pointed out, Linux has always been built efficiently, just because a particular inefficiency 'isn't very inefficient' why should we ignore it? It still exists. What's MORE worrying is the number of people posting who have NO curiosity or desire for 'elegance' at all...they're not (whatever they claim) Engineers....
