The problem persists. When I try to select the normal visual effect, the system does not respond and I have to restart the PC manually with the power button. Sometimes, Ubuntu restarts without warning.
At this moment I am working with 1152 * 864 pixels resolution without visual effect, but the screen looks bad. For this problem I have uploaded a picture where you see the problem. The model of my video card is: nVidia Corporation NVCrush11 [GeForce2 MX Integrated Graphics] (rev b1).
