The /usr/share/applications/qt3config.desktop defines an Icon attribute for the desktop entry: qtconfig since none of the standard icon themes include such an icon, this package ought to supply one in png, svg or xpm Not all implementations support every type. I think png is the most common The icon theme spec (http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec) states that 3rd party apps should assume that a hicolor theme exists and if only providing one size it should be 48x48.
