If XP is booted from CD and recovery console used to run chkdsk /p ,
errors are found and fixed. On reboot, XP will now start.

If XP is restarted then it will restart OK.

If XP is shutdown, the VM does not power off, stops at "It is not safe
to turn off computer screen".  Turn of using VM Shutdown button.

An error occurs:
Error Shutting down domain : operation failed : could not query memory balloon 
allocation.
