same problem here, not just after upgrading to 9.10 but after an update. Tried to clean by uninstalling all "en" locales and re-install "fr" locales => Nada A full uninstall + reinstall of OOo still the same, despite gnome *is* localized "French"
Solved by manually add install "openoffice.org-l10n-fr" All manipulation here made from Synaptic.
