Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: blitz++

I experienced this while installing additional packages using Feisty
herd 4, which includes blitz++ 1:0.9-1.2

When using synaptic to install the blitz++ package, atlas3-3dnow is
auto-installed as a dependency, but atlas3-3dnow is for AMD processors
only and -- according to dire warning message which pops up on the
screen several times before the package is even installed -- won't even
work on other processors.

The actual dependency is on libatlas3.so, but then this library should
be in it's own package, or the dependency should be on a package that is
processor-agnostic. Most users will be confused/freaked out by the
atlas3-3dnow warning messages when trying to install blitz++.

** Affects: blitz++ (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed

** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 51792
   atlas3-3dnow installed by default (even on non-AMD machines)
