This bit me again today. After re-creating the swap partition, waking up
from hibernation stops working. I also didn't find a way to update /etc
/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume automatically. At least it's not easily
discoverable.

Naturally switching to a swap file would be the favored solution. But
for the time being, some other solution should be found.
