*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 448810 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448810
I think the duplicate status is wrong, as this bug was filed separate from 437094 because it was NOT a duplicate of that bug, which itself seems to be similar to the bug 448810. In short, this bug, 448952, was filed in response to 437094, because they differ. 448810 seems similar to 437094. I'm posting here because i have a bug that may be similar to philinux's and i'm looking for confirmation. Upon a fresh start, if i run update manager it loads a previous 'check' of the dependencies etc. Fair enough. If i click 'check' to update the list, i'm asked to enter my password. All is fine. Then i click 'Install Updates' and all it does is check the dependencies and refresh the list again. It does not install anything. I currently have important security updates, recommended updates and proposed updates available to install. But nothing is happening. Deselecting one set of updates, or either set of other updates does not make it install the remaining selected updates. I'll post any relevant information that you need. -- Karmic: Update manager asks for password to check and then again to install updates https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
