@WubiNeophyte: This is not a system-wide problem. This isnt even an app-wide problem. This is a bug in 1 particular app and in 1 specific app listed in the app out of the 1000's of apps listed! The chances of this affecting the user is quite less. This is not something which is going to greatly improve/impact the usability of the OS in general.
Though you have caught a good bug , to consider this bug as within the 100 papercuts for Lucid would not be ideal.
