Report 456485 (Fitch) was encountered after a clean Ubuntu 9.10 install. My own remedy was to mark for complete removal: Apache 2, mysql, mysql server, mysql core and zoneminder. I then installed libdirac-dev and libdirac0c2a. Then I installed Zoneminder 1.24.1. No problems were encountered after that.
