Agreed, that the bug is not within Ubuntu. But how am I supposed to run buggy, obsolete commercial software in Feisty? Maybe a choice of libX11 could be included? Or preloading of old libX11 ? Say: run_with_old_libx11 <commercial_application_binary> ?
I really doubt that commercial vendors will release bugfixes for their products.
