I might not have been as clear as I wanted to be, so here goes a
clarification.

Currently the example-content package provide a Examples directory which
actually is a symlink to /usr/share/example-content (or somewhere like
that).

I want that symlink to remain, but in addition to that I want the
provided tarball to be untarred into /etc/skel, so each new user which
is created will get those directories by default.

So a new user's homedir will look like this:
~/Examples -> /usr/share/example-content
~/Music
~/Photos
~/Documents
~/.nautilus

My tarball also has a .nautilus directory which has some preconfigured
emblems for those directories.

Example Content should provide more default directories with emblems
