While testing apport-chroot:
$ grep enabled /etc/default/apport
enabled=1
$
$ # Not for the squeamish who fear killing dash and little scripts...
$ ulimit -c unlimited
$ sh -c 'while true; do : ; done' &

$ # look away...
$ kill -ABRT 7929
$

$ apport-chroot -m chroot/chroot.map retrace /var/crash/_bin_dash.1000.crash
