Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command in a terminal after reproducing the issue, and it it will automatically gather debugging information needed for this bug:
apport-collect 479038 (You may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report.) Also, does it work correctly if you have the projector attached from boot? Fwiw, the likely reason that this regressed since 9.04 is because modesetting (selecting resolutions for different outputs) has moved from X to the kernel, and so some of the logic may have changed. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Unable to set lower resolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/479038 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
