Binary package hint: dselect
I have been trying to upgrade my feisty partition for a while now, but
when I do it fails on this error
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/dselect_1.13.24ubuntu5_i386.deb: unable to
stat restored `./usr/share/man/man1/dselect.1.gz' before installing
another version
Also the filesystem occasionally goes into read-only mode after trying to run
apt-get upgrade (or dist-upgrade). Which renders the entire computer
essentially useless (only opened apps work, restarting X won't work) the only
option is to restart the computer.
