When the "Avaliable to all users" checkbox is checked, the NM applet ask 
you for the superuser key.
Many times, but not always, when you go to the "Wireless Security" 
section, there are no password there, only a blank edit box.
Opposite to this, the file in "/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/" 
that corresponds to that connection has the key in it,
but is not used.
