*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 312491 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312491
Looking at the attached dpkg-log, the following line shows the following reason for this problem: dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/ekiga_3.2.0-0ubuntu2_i386.deb (--unpack): failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/share/gnome/help/ekiga/es/ekiga.xml': No space left on device "no space left on device" means that simply the disk ran out of space here, I don't think this is a problem of the package itself. Therefore I am closing this as duplicate of bug 312491 where the error message is discussed, for now please try to make more space available on your harddrive and then try again. If you think there is a problem with too much space usage somewhere, please create a separate bug report that provides the relevant information. See also Bug #312491 which discusses improving the error message in this case. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 312491 Failure to update add/ or remove programs -- package ekiga 3.2.0-0ubuntu1 [modified: usr/share/gnome/help/ekiga/en_GB/ekiga.xml] failed to install/upgrade: failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/share/gnome/help/ekiga/es/ekiga.xml' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/470207 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
