Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64 WD passport 500GB USB drive Safely remove drive fails to unmount if data was written to drive. (safely unmounts if no data is written to drive) There is a popup with the animated writing to disk. When that completes, there is a new popup with: Unable to stop drive Failed to eject media; one or more volumes on the media are busy.
