Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synaptic
Steps to reproduce 1. Start synaptic 2. Add a PPA 3. Reload 4. Search for a package in the quicksearch from the newly added PPA Expected result: Package appears as not installed with the unchecked icon from the current icon theme, the same icon as for other not installed packages What happens: Package appears as not installed with the unchecked icon from the default icon theme among the other packages, which have the unchecked icon from the current icon theme So the icon for the newly appeared packages is wrong, but after another reload, this is fixed, the icon changes to the expected icon.
