Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

Putting a track in the playlist and clicking on the "start" button does
not produce any sound, and the "play button" briefly display "pause"
before coming back to the "play" status. No sound.

In the configuration windows, the sound settings appears OK and the test
produces the right sound.

I tested with a kubuntu 9.10 live disk : same symptoms.

With Amarok 1 the sound was OK and I didi not change my hardware....
