Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
I trying to create a system-connection for an internal wwan module under ubuntu-karmic. When configuring as a user connection I am able to use it for dial-up later. Now I changed this connection and set the hook in "available to all users" with the following results: - I need to type in my login password again - a new file is in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/: root c399415:~# ls -l /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/ -rw------- 1 root root 749 Nov 16 14:53 MyWWAN - When trying to connect the pppd terminates with signal 15: Nov 16 14:55:56 c399415 pppd[3491]: Plugin /usr/lib/pppd/2.4.4/nm-pppd-plugin.so loaded. I also tried to create the connection from scratch with sudo nm-connection-editor but the effect is the same.
