I am using Ubuntu Karmic Koala (9.10, AMD64). My Pidgin version is
2.6.2. This bug is very annoying since I get requests all the time from
spambots asking me to authorise them and trying to send me files or
links with spyware (which will not affect Ubuntu but is still very
annoying). I set privacy options with "Only people in my contactlist are
allowed to contact me" but after a restart of my system, all these
settings are switched back to default.
