@celibriem Thats the very first thing I tried, they simply returned when the program was restarted, hence my search for the actual configuration files, so I could manually delete them, and the discovery of the bug.
@Brain curtis I was told that deletion of personal configuration files is uncommon even when "complete removal" is checked. I was further told that this expectation was unreasonable.
