@Sebastian - I've got three buttons on the pointy stick, two on the track pad. With Dave's uploaded module (with the first patch), my 'lost sync' problems (and the accompanying pointer 'skipping'/'jumping' seem to have disappeared.
I still think I'm seeing some occasional 'button locking' - where the LH button doesn't disengage, but I can't reproduce it reliably.
