OH! A very important fact - after "reconnect", when I get the TouchPad and Stick back again as plain unconfigured mice, both work OK. I mean I can use the Stick & TouchPad simultaneously and everything is perfect. :) No jumping, no lost sync.
So I have these options: 1) avoid lost sync & reconnect and have my Stick with the ability to scroll (Wheel Emulation in combination with button 3) -- that's the custom config via HAL. 2) force reconnect, don't have any problems anymore, but also loose the Wheel Emulation -- cos I'm unable to apply HAL configuration on the reconnected devices. :( I think this means the problem might not be just the driver. It's probably a combination of HW / driver issues. -- ALPS DualPoint Touchpad flaky performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296610 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
