Perhaps I'm doing something incorrectly, but none of these solutions work for me.
I've tried the stop start udev and that hasn't helped. I'm trying to get my Casio camera to mount when i attach it via USB as well as an external USB hard drive and numerous USB sticks. I've also notice that in the nautilus computer view there are 4 cd rom drives instead of the two that were in jaunty.
