Ubuntu Guys did a great job!!!!!!!!!!
I've just updated ubuntu 9.10 on the msi wind u100 with the update - manager the typical way and the webcam and hotplug didn't have a conflict anymore. Thanks for not waiting till the next release!!!! I verified it twice with the dvbt hvr 900 and my usb stick and my mouse. It works! By the way after updating don't forget to take the entrance "uvcvideo" from the blacklist - sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf Maybe the flickr is also gone - i'will check it right now.
