Public bug reported:

Hi,
before the update from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10, I used to connect by GNOME PPP to
the modem of my cell. phone.
While I have update, this connection not work.

GNOME PPP, when I connect, "say":

--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60

--> Cannot open /dev/rfcomm0: No such file or directory

--> Cannot open /dev/rfcomm0: No such file or directory

--> Cannot open /dev/rfcomm0: No such file or directory

I realized that the port rfcomm0 no longher works.

If I run the command

modinfo rfcomm

the result is:
ERROR: modinfo: could not find module rfcomm

I think the problem is in the kernel, there isn't the rfcomm module.

how can I fix this?

Simone.

Ps. Sorry for my English!
