Hi Philip. Thanks for you quick reply. Unfortunately I had to uninstall Ubuntu since I needed the computer to work and installed Windows 7. I'll do another installation and try to replicate the bug.
This happens in Windows 7 too, but I was able to find a workaround: using the device manager, if I remove "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the device properties I stop having problems.
