This patch: http://audacity.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/audacity /audacity-src/src/prefs/DevicePrefs.cpp?r1=1.6&r2=1.7 could probably fix this issue, which according to the stack trace happened when opening Audacity rather than closing it...?
