Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
in ubuntu 9.10:

With the Asus eee top 1602.
I expected that when I touch the screen the mousecursor will move there and a
mousebutton click will happen.
That is not the case, if I touch the screen on the location of where the
mousecursor is than it will evoke a left mouse button click, but only then.

I found this bugreport in the fedora bugreport-system:

 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=491629

I don't know if this is enough information, if there is more needed I
will do my best.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-evdev (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
