Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: notify-osd

I just upgraded a mythbuntu install from Jaunty to Karmic.
Synaptic and apt-get report that I need to run apt-get -f install to fix broken
dependencies in mythbuntu-desktop. Doing so results in the following:

~$ sudo apt-get -f install

Uninstalling mythbuntu-desktop and notify-osd fixes the problem, but is
not a long-term solution and neither dpkg -i nor apt-get install will
allow me to install notify-osd manually.
