Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

After upgrading my kubuntu based laptop to karmic I got lots of
segfaults in firefox (at almost every click on a non-html link).

Tried to get rid of the problem in many ways, including deleting profiles,
reinstalling firefox, etc. Even removed other packages like eclipse that need
gnome stuff.
After removing gvfs no segfaults any more. Finally reinstalled gvfs related
packages one by one, bug reappeared after installing libgnomeui-0.

kubuntu: X86_64 9.10 (through version upgrade from up-to-date jaunty)

firefox: 3.5.4+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.10.1
libgnoneui: 2.24.2-1

test procedure: start firefox; go to any download page (e.g. http://www
.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/) and click a download link. If firefox
disappears completely, it most probably is because of this bug (as I
checked with firefox -g; see attachement)

** Affects: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
