I've updated ktorrent package recently to 3.3~rc1-jaunty~ppa2kde43 from kubuntu-ppa repository (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu jaunty main) It seems that the issue is fixed - I able to add trackers to any torrents now.
