I have a Dell C640 with an ATI Radeon 7500 and it has this same issue, I
have to turn off all effects otherwise the system freezes. When I turn
off the effects the bubble notifications are corrupted and don't display
properly.
This very same issue also effects the System Montior application.
Everything worked fine in all previous releases, any info to fix would
be appreciated.
