Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Apologies for the vague summary, but it's tricky to explain. Basically, after upgrading to Karmic, very often when trying to use the task switcher on the panel, it fails to detect that the mouse has moved over or clicked on a task button. It is very irritating, and you have to move the mouse away from the button and back again in order to select it. Also, task buttons often stay in their hover state even when the mouse moves off them. Attached is a screencast to try to demonstrate the problem. When the cursor is moving around over the task button, I am clicking several times, but it is not responding. The screencast does not use the default Ubuntu theme, but trying the "Human" theme has the same effect.
