Binary package hint: mountall
I am having a problem with Karmic 9.10 x64 server. Fails to mount
devices in fstab, and then i get this error.
"waiting on" dev/mapper/VolumeGroupName-LogicalVolumeName
I have separate partitions for the OS all as software raid 1 except for the LVM
which is 1.4 TB of raid 1 drives mounted as /home.
/boot - 1 gig
/root - 30 gig
/swap - 16 gig
/usr - 9 gig
/var - 6 gig
/tmp - 4 gig
/home -1.4 tb
This LVM setup was working great with Jaunty, the update to Karmic broke it. I
tried a fresh install from the Karmic disk and the alternate install
disk, and got the same errors.
I am still a noob, especialy when it comes to log file reports, so if i
should have provided any more details already, sorry in advance. Let me
know what you need an i will post it up.
