There's no sound after upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10. Sound worked fine
before (as of 7.10), but not anymore. In "sound preferences", tab
hardware, no devices are shown.

I did modify the last line of alsa-base.conf (See bug #434085, I have a
HP dv6000), dit a modprobe -r and modprobe, but no change (but it did
make a crackling noise).
