Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

The problem I notice has surfaced in the 2.28.1-0ubuntu1 version of the
evolution-exchange connector on Karmic Koala

Actually not really sure this is a bug but I have not had this problem since
around Gutsy maybe even Edgy.
The problem is I configure evolution with the OWA url

http://euukflesvex01/exchange/

My username gets set as domain\first.last.

I authenticate fine, i.e. no errors.. However the account then gets
created with the exchange server being UKSUNSVEX01 and of course when I
exit the account creation screen and evolution tries to retrieve mail,
it wants me to authenticate to UKSUNSVEX01 which I do with the same
password, but of course my mailbox is not on that server so
authentication request keeps on happening.

My work around was to hard code UKSUNSVEX01's address in /etc/hosts with
the address for euukflesvex01

The work around works.

Not sure of what other information can be provided.
