Public bug reported: Binary package hint: audacity
Audacity in Karmic has been skipping occasionally. This skipping is so short that only about half a word is lost in playback of the file, and if I play the file again, or simply back up the play head, it will not skip in the same places, but different ones. Processor usage is 110% for audacity in gnome-system-monitor on my AMD64 3.2 GHz dual-core Athlon 6400. I did not have this problem in Jaunty, which I had been using audacity in on at least a weekly basis since approximately the time Jaunty released. Two similar bugs, but I don't think they're the same exact problem: #111558 - https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/111558 #199992 - https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199992 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Nov 1 14:47:09 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: audacity 1.3.9-6 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: audacity Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic x86_64 ** Affects: audacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- audacity skips, consumes 110% processor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/469704 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
